Steps to Re-Certify as a Hockey Official

Welcome back to officiating! It can be confusing with changes each year to the program, but see below for steps to become a fully re-certified official: 

STEP 1

FIll Out the Recertification Form:

STEP 2

You will then receive an email with Clinic information.
Register and Pay for your clinic.

STEP 3

Log in to your Hockey Canada (HCR 3.0) / Spordle Account.

STEP 4

Ensure your PRC/VSS is up to date
(For officials 18 or older by Dec 31 of this year).

A: If you need a new VSS/PRC, use this link and save Money >> https://pages.sterlingbackcheck.ca/landing-pages/o/ohf/ 

B: If your PRC/VSS is up to date you need to complete a  Criminal Declaration form which is found >> HERE

C: once you complete your Criminal declaration form OR a new VSS/PRC you email it to >> [email protected] 
 

STEP 5

Complete your Exam/Modules

STEP 6

Complete your recertification clinic

STEP 7

Upgrade your gear at therefstore.ca
